Delete a Security Role

You must have the appropriate permission to delete security roles. (For more information, see Security Role Security.)

To delete a security role

  1. Click Setup.
  2. In the Employee submenu, click Security Roles.
  3. On the Manage Security Roles page, click the Delete button next to the security role you wish to remove.

If the security role has employees attached to it, the following message will appear: There are employees attached to this role. Do you want to proceed?

  1. Click OK to proceed.

The deleted security role is removed from the Manage Security Roles page.
